As Manager of Communications and HR, Janae serves a multifaceted role overseeing the operations of HR and Communications, while serving as HIPAA Privacy Officer and project manager for various organizational initiatives with SHO’s member hospitals.

Janae facilitates a comprehensive HR program including recruitment and retention, training and development, benefits administration, employee relations and well-being, policy adoption, and compliance to all laws and regulations.

She is also responsible for leading SHO’s internal and external communication activities, including oversight of SHO’s website and public presences, brand management, newsletters, media relations, intranet, corporate reporting, project management, and affinity group processes.

Janae enjoys bringing together leaders from the SHO hospitals for collective initiatives and best practice sharing. She coordinates the HR Council, Marketing Council, Volunteer Coordinators Taskforce, and various online networking groups. She also supports the Chaplains Council, Education Taskforce, and Foundation Directors Council.

To assist her responsibilities, Janae internally leads SHO’s Communications Council and HR/Office Operations Council, and co-leads SHO’s Compliance/Risk Advisory Council with the HIPAA Security Officer. She is also a member of SHO’s Technology and Meeting Planning Councils.
