In his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Wilson has the ultimate management responsibility for SHO’s resources and all other aspects of the business, including:

  • Strategic Planning visioning and implementation
  • Financial performance
  • Operational performance
  • Product and Service Development
  • Business Development and Marketing
  • Clinical Integration and Alignmnet
  • Population Health
  • Managed Care Contracting
  • Human Resources
  • Governance

In addition to these responsibilities, Dr. Wilson serves as Executive Director of the Suburban Care Collaborative Clinically Integrated Network. He directs a variety of Managed Care services provided for the SHO hospitals and their employed physician practices, including value-based contracting, messenger model contracting, and network management. 

Dr. Wilson leads and/or facilitates the CEO Roundtable, CMO Roundtable, CIN Board, Physician Advisory Committee, Tertiary Affiliate Council, and Population Health Board.

He is also a member of SHO’s Strategic Council and Physician Recruitment Team and is an active member of the Risk Retention Group and SHO SPC Captive Boards.
