Our 30th year is a time for celebration and would seem to be a very apt moment for SHO to extend its partnerships across state lines! As such, we are proud to introduce Vantage Healthcare of Ohio to the SHO membership group as an affiliate member representing nine Ohio Hospitals. Our high degree of philosophical and strategic alignment around the principles of Hospital independence and the community benefits of locally-based care make Vantage a most welcomed partner. Our alignment will enhance the scale of best practice sharing, shared service opportunities, advocacy efforts, and group contracting potential. Whereas Vantage retains an independent Board of Directors, Suburban Healthcare Organization is extending administrative resources to support Vantage through the employment of Carly Salamone in the role of President of Vantage Healthcare of Ohio. Carly’s rich experience in support of a number of current Vantage partners will allow us to quickly leverage the potential of this new partnership through mutual learning of best practices and the shared savings opportunities of additional scale.
