Please join us in welcoming the new President and CEO of Hendricks Regional Health, Dr. Michelle Fenoughty.
With nearly 30 years of experience extending across multiple areas within healthcare, Dr. Fenoughty stands out in more ways than one. This includes the decades she spent as a practicing women’s health physician, as well as her roles within executive leadership. In 2002, Dr. Fenoughty joined Hendricks as an OB/GYN with Westside Physicians for Women. She then went on to hold positions within medical affairs, notably being Chair of the OB/Pediatrics Committee from 2004 to 2011 and serving as Chief of Staff from 2011 to 2015. Dr. Fenoughty is the fifth president and CEO to serve at Hendricks; most notably she is the first woman and physician to step into this role at Hendricks Regional Health.
Dr. Fenoughty graduated from Southern Illinois University of Medicine located in Springfield, Illinois. She then attended Indiana University where she completed OB/GYN residency training. Along with these accomplishments, Dr. Fenoughty recently has earned a Business of Medicine Physician MBA through the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
President of Suburban Health Organization, Dave Lippincott commented, “We are excited to see Dr. Fenoughty move into her new role at Hendricks. Her vast clinical leadership experience will be of great benefit as we continue our efforts to become a more clinically integrated network across SHO.”
We are delighted to have Dr. Michelle Fenoughty on board and welcome her addition to the CEO Roundtable.
