“As with all of our peers at SHO, we watched firsthand as our Colleagues worked tirelessly to care for our community – and to do so with a courage and commitment that only healthcare workers will understand. It was overwhelming and inspiring all at the same time. How can Goshen Health lift up their heroic efforts? How can we show our Colleagues that they are heard and appreciated, their work is making a difference?
We were grateful for all the community members who kept reaching out to us through Facebook, our website and written letters. They were all asking similar questions as our organization. How can we help? We are so grateful, what can we do to let them know we care?
Step in a creative and driven marketing team who created Messages of Hope and the Community Card on our website, GoshenHealth.com. An easy way for our community to share notes of encouragement and thanks. Visitors could leave a message or simply sign their name to a Thank You card. We also promoted the tactics via Facebook. Within the first few days, we had a tremendous response and it has only grown from there! We quickly reached 226 messages and 439 signatures – and continue to see them come in, even after several months without promotion.
Internally we made sure that every Colleague was aware of the online appreciation and regularly encouraged them to visit and see for themselves. A small symbol, but it made a huge difference at a time when our team needed it most!”
